This geocache was established in 2009, but we placed it to close to another cache on the other side of Big Lake and so we moved it.
This cache is family friendly, just off the trail, in a rock outcropping that kids will enjoy climbing on.
The container is a large ammo box. The trailhead begins at the restroom off Loop D and you can eventually hike to the Big Lake Lookout. There are several outcroppings of rocks adjacent to the trail so choose carefully.
