Белмекен е язовир, разположен на на 1923 м надморска височина по течението на Сестримска река в Рила планина и е част от каскадата „Белмекен-Сестримо-Чаира“. Той е най-високият язовир с насипна язовирна стена на Балканския полуостров.

Belmeken dam is located on 1923 m altitude along the river Sestrimska in Rila mountain it is part of the cascade "Belmeken - Sestrimo - chair". It is the highest dam with this type of wall on the Balkan Peninsula.
