Geocache Description:

This series, and its companion series by BlackRose67, will take you along a nice flat part of the Jock River. The best way to do these caches would be to drop a take out vehicle at Terry Carisse Park on Steeple Hill Crescent then proceed to the put in at Eagleson, there is decent river access and some parking. The total distance is 6-7km and should take you 3-4 hours. Take the opportunity to get the other caches by Model12 during the last part of your paddle.

Again, you may be tempted to park near the cache and walk over but you shouldn't since the cache is only available from the river there is no public land access. You will need a boat to get this cache. Due to the high and fast spring run-off, the cache is over the water secured firmly to sturdy tree branch and you will have to reach above you to get it. When placed, the cache was reachable without standing but if the water is really low you either have to stand up or maybe have some sort of tool to pull the branch down to you. A picture log may be accepted if it is truly out of reach. Probably best to go after a good rain.
