Butcher's field Traditional Geocache

This cache has been created and placed by 1st Broughton Astley Scouts as part of their Geocaching activity badge. Parking can usually be found at either end of the footpath, although the village centre can be quite congested at times.

This footpath leads from the village centre to School Crescent, which is the site of the original village school. It makes its way alongside the old butcher's buildings and from gz the garden that you can see through the wire fence used to be the field that was used by the butcher to keep his livestock.

Update January 2020. The tree that the original cache was hiding behind has been completely removed and the cache with it, so you are now looking for a regular bison.
