An ammo box hidden near the entrance to the Franklin Bog. As you drive up you will see a wooden Franklin Bog sign. Also, on a tree near the road, a Nature Concervancy sign. You can turn in by that tree to a very rough to an un-maintained parking area - better have some good ground clearance on your car.
Bug repellant is a must and, if you wander further down the trail, boots. It s a bog after all. Keep your eyes open, there is a piebald deer that lives in the area. Now that's a rare sight.
