With so many cachers in the area, a few of us thought, why not have a monthly event? So we decided to get together once a month and socialize, swap stories, give advice, meet new and old friends, and call it an event. This event is held on the first Tuesday night of the month and moves between Greenville, Rocky Mount, Wilson, Smithfield, Goldsboro and a couple of other places and is hosted by different cachers each month. We are known as the ENCC - Eastern North Carolina Cachers
Tatortott and I were talking about the July event, and we went back and forth about who was actually going to have this event (hence the tug of war!). There will be an ENCC Wayne County table and an ENCC Johnston County table (right next to each other). You can be on the Wayne County side or the Johnston County side, or you can switch sides in the middle, as long as you come and have some fun! Who knows....there may be an actual game of tug of war!
The event will be from 6:30 until 8:00pm. At this location, if you choose, you can play 18 holes of golf, plus bumper cars and even take a train ride. For those that are playing golf, we'll be giving out a prize for the champion golf player!
We'll be ordering pizza from a nearby establishment and have bottled water for anyone who'd like it.
No purchase is necessary in order to attend the event. ALL are welcome - new cachers, experienced cachers, reclusive cachers, or people who are just passing through the area and luck up on our event.
NOTE: You MUST go through the neighboring large parking lot to get to the mini golf parking lot. There is not an entrance directly on Hwy 70.
Hope to see you there!
