You might have seen this tall tower from the other side of city. But you might not have a close touch to it.

Acutally this tower has long been a research facility for atomosphere monitoring since the 1980s, although we don't know how much effect it could attribute to the PM2.5 control. The tower is so tall that it has a small elevator installed inside to help people work up there. That elevator experienced a tragic accident some 20 years ago, killing all of seven personnel on board.
