Geocache Description:

Tenderfoot Campground at Summit Lake is a great little quiet campground that also has the boat launch for the Lake.  It is hosted by our friends Sue & Pete, who have done an awesome job keeping the camp clean, friendly and ship-shape. About 1/2 way between Anchorage & Seward with spectacular views either side! The hosts are cachers as well; Geofishers. Tell them team AKFishgoddess says hi :) Congrats to GeoFishers on FTF! Happy Caching!

Cache is a quick P&G nano giving you a chance to scope out the area. Pick up a loaner book from the host volunteer library to read in the sun at Day Use or, cast a line in the lake for the rare golden trout or hike up the mountain ski hill for another cache :) If you can't readily find the host, she might be out in her Sunami!
