It's 3 am in the morning. I often find myself up on sleepless nights like these working on geocaches, especially mystery caches like this one. I'm currently watching Louis C.K.'s newest comedy special from The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. Louie is my favorite comic out right now, I love everything that man does. I listen to his standup specials as much as most people probably listen to their favorite songs, and I always find new things to appreciate every time.
Earlier tonight I was playing some FIFA 15. FIFA is the one video game I have consistently played since about 2002. I'm not much of a gamer, but that's the one game I love. I often play with Chelsea, my favorite team from Europe, who play in London at Stamford Bridge. They won the Premier League title in England this year which was exciting. I'm actually going to see them play next month against the Red Bulls during their preseason tour.
As far as my favorite MLS club, the New England Revolution, they didn't fare too well this weekend, losing to rivals DC United at RFK Stadium in Washington 2-1. Even with the loss they are still in second place at the moment so I can't complain.
It's pretty obvious I love sports, I do have a whole MLS series of caches out that I should be wrapping up soon, but soccer isn't the only sport I follow. One of my favorite sports is basketball and the NBA in particular. Last week was bittersweet because of the NBA finals which means the end to the season, but it was great to watch the Golden State Warriors win the title at The Q in Cleveland. They certainly deserved it with the season they had.
This past weekend was special though as it was Father's Day. It's always great to spend that day with my pops. His family along with my mother's moved here from the Azores in Portugal back in the 60s, and sacrificed a lot to provide a great upbringing for me. I'm always thankful for all they've given to me.
Anyway it's probably best I try to finally get some sleep. I always need to listen to some music to get me to sleep, I'm going with a little (really not so little) band from Denver, Colorado tonight, The Fray. Good night, and as always, happy caching!
