Geocache Description:

This geocache is locacated on the Cypress Creek Footbridge on the Ocean to Lake Trail.

You can access this cache by a walk on the OTL from Riverbend Park to the South, Jonathan Dickenson State Park to the North or The Jessup Trail to the West.

If you chose to come from the Jessup Trail you can apply for a permit online on the SFWMD page to use the gate at Cypress Creek Natural Area and park in the second parking area (it will be marked as such) - you can take bikes on the Jessup trail but not on the OTL. TheMasses came this way when they originally placed the cache and locked their bikes up right where you switch from the Jessup trail to the OTL and continued on by foot.

You may also be able to kayak from the Loxahatchee River to Cypress Creek.

This footbridge is a beautiful and relaxing sight. When we were there we saw otters and manatee.

Permission for this cache given by Rob Rossmanith, JDSP Park Biologist - Enjoy!
