From the parking area the Trail of Blue Ice can be accessed at the trailhead in the center of the campground on the south side, a longer hike can be started from either Begich, Boggs Visitor Center or Moose flats. At the campground trailhead, veer west and go only a short distance; after crossing a bridge look for a small side trail heading south toward the glacier. This is a tight, bushy and somewhat overgrown trail before opening up into a scree field backed by towering waterfalls. GPS signal was not optimal and I have done my best to come up with accurate coords. However, being that there is the beginning of a rock wall next to gz they could be off, so I will give generous hints as well as spoiler photos. Be very bear and moose aware; there is also a population of wolves in portage valley so throw that in to.
