Geocache Description:

This is a small geocache placed at one of the bridges of this former Crowhurst, Sidley and Bexhill Railway. The last passenger train passed this way in June 1964 following Dr Beeching's review of the railways.

When I placed the cache I parked in Gwyneth Grove and walked up Worsham Lane to gain access to the old railway track. With the current construction of the Link Road accessing the railway track from Sidley may be an issue but this should improve once the new road and adjacent greenway are opened.

You will need specialist climbing equipment, only attempt this if you know what you are doing, attempting this cache can be hazardous if care is not taken. Please be mindful of the cache and replace it as found. When I placed the cache I did it as a simple abseil from the top.

Bring your own pen!

Please replace the cache as found.

Congratulations to Vimmes & Heisenburg for the First to Find
