**UPDATE** It has come to our attention that our neighbors across the road do not like "random people coming down the road". They stated that "this is the reason we moved to a more private road".... Well, the road is shared - not private, so, fellow cachers, you ARE allowed and encouraged to come find the cache. However, in agreement with a previous finders log - Do stay to the left side of the road. In fact - to make it even easier: Pull into the first driveway to the LEFT, park immediately and begin your search. In the coming weeks, we will be adding a "Geocachers Parking" sign to guide you. When you get to the coordinates for this Geocache, you will notice that you are at the driveway of a private residence. The cache is HIDDEN - it is not in plain sight. If you are not too scared, and there is a red Ford truck in the yard, you may sneak up and discover the HUGE travelbug decal on the back window. (We won't mind a bit - in fact, we may come out and chat, for we love meeting other cachers!)
A Dragonfly Haiku:
Dance, O dragonflies,
In your world
of the setting sun.
If you know of us (Monkey Trouble), you know that one half of us is a below-knee amputee, and has struggled and fought against strife, medical issues and pain to continue Geocaching. I have always adored dragonflies, but after everything that has happened to me, I adore them even more now. The symbolism of the dragonfly became so much more important to me after learning:
The meaning of the dragonfly:
-
The dragonfly totem carries the wisdom of transformation and adaptability in life. As spirit animal, the dragonfly is connected to the symbolism of change and light. When the dragonfly shows up in your life, it may remind you to bring a bit more lightness and joy into your life.
-
The dragonfly, in almost every part of the world symbolizes change and change in the perspective of self realization; and the kind of change that has its source in mental and emotional maturity and the understanding of the deeper meaning of life.
