HR: Ruševni ostaci gradine Grižane nalaze se iznad naselja Grižane, na kamenoj litici ispod stijena koje sa sjeveroistoka zatvaraju grižansku dolinu. Ime dolazi od lokalne riječi "Griža", što znači "Živa stijena" - misli se na stijenu na kojoj je sagraden Kaštel.

CZ: Ruiny z hradu Grižane se nalézají nad vesnicí Grižane na strmém útesu pod skalami, které obklopují údolí Grižane ze severovýchodu. Jméno pochází z místního slova Griža, které znamená Žijící skála, na které byl hrad postaven.

EN: The ruins of the hill fort of Grižane are located above the village of Grižane, on a sheer cliff underneath the rocks that enclose the valley of Grižane from the north-east. The name comes from the local word Griža, which means Living rock, on which the castle was built.
