Här låg tidigare en av de första cacher jag loggade - Round, round & up http://coord.info/GCR7XQ - men den arkiverades 2013.

Se upp för trafiken, undvik gärna rusningstid / Mind the traffic, avoid rush hours if possible

I slutet av Augusti 2005 hände det sig att utomjordingar landade i Katrineholms utkanter, parkerade sitt rymdskepp och försvann sedan spårlöst... ;o)
En debatt "rasade" om raketen ett tag, men så småningom bestämde sig kommunen för att den skulle få stå kvar. Idag syns den inte lika tydligt som på bilden men platsen är trots det värd en gömma.
Efter några år försvann raketen spårlöst bara för att ytterligare lite senare återfinnas kraschad i ett dike. Därefter restaurerades den och dök upp i en rondell på andra sidan staden 2020. I samband med att rondellen och området runt den blev föremål för gatuomläggningar m.m. så flyttades den bort 2023. Huruvida den kommer tillbaka när ombyggnaden är klar är ovisst. Kanske dyker den upp på ett helt nytt ställe?

In the end of August 2005, aliens happened to land in the outskirts of Katrineholm, parked their spaceship and then disappeared without a trace... ;o)
A debate is "raged" about the rocket for some time, but finally the municipality decided not to remove it. Today the rocket is not as visible as on the photo but the spot is worth a cache...

 

After a few years, the rocket disappeared without a trace, only to be found a little later crashed in a ditch. It was then restored and appeared in a roundabout on the other side of the city in 2020. In connection with the roundabout and the area around it becoming the subject of street realignments, etc. it was moved away in 2023. Whether it will return when the rebuilding is complete is uncertain. Maybe it appears in a completely new place?
