1521 Canoecopia-Kr8tzchy Series Traditional Cache

This is one of the 7 caches in a cache series called the Kr8tzchy Series.  In order to find the final, "I am going Kr8tzchy" you will need to find this cache along with 5 others hidden on the Kratzch Preserve. The preserve is open from dawn until dusk.  This is cache is part of the West Bend Cache Bash. Celebrating 8 years of cache bashing!

Before airplanes, cars, and trains the only way to travel was on water.  Rivers and lakes were the interstate of the country.  If you wanted to go to a town or city just jump in you canoe and paddle.  

It's not the quickest form of traveling but it moved you, your family, and all of your goods to your destination.  Now it's a great form of recreation!  

When you reach ground zero you will be at Kratzch Canoe Launch.  You are looking for a small container.  Please replace the cache the way you found it!

Welcome to Kratzch Preserve, managed by the Ozaukee Washington Land Trust.  Please park at coordinates: N 43 25.941 W 088 03.621  If there isnt parking available there please park on the paved street.  While visiting the preserve please stay on trail until you reach ground zero.  There are buildings and equipment on the property, this is private property and a private residence owned by the OWLT.  Please stay away from the buildings.  Permission granted by Katie Weber, Conservation Specialist, OWLT.
