PCGC: SSC Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ninja Reviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

These geocaches are part of a summer project to hide geocaches on Presbyterian College’s beautiful campus, so visitors to the college can learn more about this historic school. Scattered throughout the campus, the geocaches are placed in historically important locations relating to alumni, founders, and landmark buildings central to PC’s community. We hope that these geocaches help you learn more about this lovely and quirky liberal arts college in Clinton, SC.

In 1924, this building was constructed thanks to the donation of Colonel Leroy Springs, a cotton manufacturer from Lancaster, South Carolina. Later, Springs donated an indoor swimming pool which was later drained and replaced with the current-day fitness center. Students now enjoy eating meals on the columned porch and playing ping pong or pool in their free time. Be careful when searching for this geocache, as many muggle students swarm to this location for a quick bite to eat on their way to class.
