Most caches are placed on the Baggrave Estate, a mixture of footpath and minor road of around two miles.
The Estate is a large sheep farm (Waterloo) and common with most sheep farms, less agile dogs will need to be lifted over the stiles.
A search on google will show the history and legend attached to Baggrave Hall. A lesson in not taking in strangers.
The cattle grid gate is known as the 'Forty Pound Gate'. Legend has it that one huntsman bet another £40 that he couldn't jump over it. Outcome is unknown.
