LAUREL RUN PARK
Named after the adjacent stream that runs just south-west of the park, Laurel Run is the newest addition to the Burlington County Parks System. Sit in the sheltered picnic area and enjoy the rolling fields of what was once a peach farm owned by the Anderson Family. The three main farm roads, now hiking trails, guide visitors along the farm field edges to the Rancocas Creek, where one can fish or just relax and take in beautiful views of the water.
Facing the Rancocas Creek, this park is ideal for watching water birds. Trees lining the edge give sheltered views of northern pintails, mergansers, goldeneyes, and double-crested cormorants.
Current improvements to the park include a paved parking area; picnic area with pavilion and charcoal grills; and, portable restroom with enclosure. Future improvements will enhance the trail system and provide additional amenities to make visiting the park even more enjoyable.
