Welcome to Skyline to the Cache! This cache is one of a series I've placed along the Skyline trail at the top of Sanborn-Skyline County Park. All of the caches are on or near the trail and represent a variety of cache sizes and containers. I hope you enjoy the series and this beautiful area!
This cache is a short distance from the trail in an area of small trees growing among the giants (now a clearing with a few small trees around the edge.)You're looking for a large bison in a tree that’s about 2 - 3" in diameter.
Trail hours are 8am to sunset. There are a number of places to park along Skyline Blvd., but the secret trailhead at GCK3X3 is a good place to start if you want to find the whole series.
