Here is a really quiet little clearing along along the Olinda creek. However, more importantly there is a SECRET ENTRY here to the Earth’s Core.
Of course you don’t believe me but go and see for yourself!

This is not just your usual entry; it’s a TRAVEL BUG entry point. As we know travel bugs certainly get around which is draining, so they need to recharge in a cosy warm spot like earth’s core. In fact the earth’s core is at 5400 °C which is the same temperature as the sun’s surface. How does that work?
So, I think I can safely say this is the hottest travel bug hotel in the area.
Important Note:
- Please be patient retrieving the log, the gateway is tight for some (especially when swollen due to heat).
- Please do not remove the travel bug attachment devices.
The listed parking spot gives you a nice 20min round trip walk along the Olinda Trail. This is the safe option if with Geokids which saves crossing roads etc.
