Geocache Description:


This Cache is the 2nd of 6 which can be combined with the caches below in a gentle circular stroll of a little over 2½ miles (4km). See: Cogden Flora 1 (GC5Y8CE) for full details about parking and the route.


Your outward route is across organic grassland traditionally managed with seasonal low intensity grazing creating an ideal habitat for many species of wildflowers. Here and there areas of scrub have been allowed to develop providing habitat for birds and small mammals. A little off the path lies New Lane Rough a damper, uncultivated and lightly grazed area with ideal conditions for species that enjoy shady humid conditions, like Willow & Stinking Iris.

You are looking for a small clip top box which contains log book, pencil and tradable goodies.
