Geocache Description:


This Cache is the 3rd of 6 which can be combined with the caches below in a gentle circular stroll of a little over 2½ miles (4km). See: Cogden Flora 1 (GC5Y8CE) for full details about parking and the route.


Here, far from the road, the roar of traffic on the coast road is all but inaudible and the dominant sound, except on windy or stormy days, is that of the myriad of small birds busy amongst the hedgerows and that of the near invisible skylarks soaring overhead. From March to August the fields here, away from the bustle around the car park, are popular with ground nesting birds. If you move quietly and keep a watch on the isolated top most branches you are likely to see Stonechats perched atop them.

You are looking for a small clip top box which contains log book, pencil and tradable goodies. This cache, like one other in the circuit is behind the wire but placed so you can reach through between the wires. You DO NOT need to reach over the barbed wire or climb the fence.
