Geocache Description:


This Cache is the 5th of 6 which can be combined with the caches below in a gentle circular stroll of a little over 2½ miles (4km). See: Cogden Flora 1 (GC5Y8CE) for full details about parking and the route.


At Cogden a series of meres run along the back of Chesil Beach. Here reedbeds have established themselves in the brackish water. The tradition of harvested reeds for floor coverings and other uses has now died out. To enhance the conservation value of the meres. Sections of the reed beds are now cut on rotation to encourage new growth and create areas of open water for water fowl.

You are looking for a small clip top box which contains log book, pencil and tradable goodies.
