A cache in the historical village of Little Crosby. A quaint community with no streetlights
This cache is placed on a memorial to a local historian who ran the Little Crosby museum which used to be opposite - sadly no longer there
Bob lived and worked most of his life in the village and is now buried in St Mary`s church around the corner
If you look across the road you can see the well cross which dates from 1758, although parts have been repaired and the head dates from the 19th century. The cross is made from sandstone and is located at the site of the old village green, which was enclosed in 1857. The well was closed in and was sited at the tree sided wall
