Cache will be filled with Poppies and legion related items to begin with.
The Port Blandford Royal Canadian Legion opened in December 1964. It promotes remembrance and of our veterans. It was the home of the RCSCC Clode Sound Sea Cadets (which have since relocated to Musgravetown). This building is also a main location of social activity in the town. From Weddings, to baby showers, and dances this locations has seen many great “times”
On June 27th The Great War Living History Committee of the Boavista Peninsula will be participating in a WWI exhibit here. To commemorate the occasion we will be placing a coin in this Cache to honour and remember all our veterans. “Lest We Forget”
