Mugwort Traditional Cache

Travel to this little known tract of land which belongs to the Watchung Reservation, and is sectioned off by Glenside Avenue and Route 78... This strange little area has very little known history associated with it, unlike the Abanonded Village and other areas of the Watchung Reservation.  There is however a considerably large population of animals here including the White Tail Deer, Red Fox, and Wild Turkey.  

You will NOT be able to access this cache from the Surprise Lake or the Abandoned Village parking areas. Please do not attempt to find this geocache from any other of the park's trails, you will run into a barrier wall for Route 78! You must park at the parking coordinates located off of Glenside Avenue at the Athletic field as noted.

I placed this geocache during the early summer when there was no bushwacking needed... To find this cache you will in no way need to travel through sticker bushes, difficult undergrowth, or poison ivy. And there is no hill climbing required. To start take the trailhead located in a patch of mugwort. Have fun! And Happy Hunting!
