Long ago aliens realised that building landing gear into their UFOs was and expensive exercise! Not only all the mechanics involved to retract the gear, but the added weight, which therefore required more fuel to travel to distance planets. The solution was simple - build landing platforms! Then, no special landing gear was required. These platforms have been built all over this planet, and the one on this continent can be found right here at GZ! It is obvious why the landing pad was built here... There is a ready source of power nearby to recharge their cells for the return trip!
