Sands Seekers: I think this cache has been buried by sand over the winter. I am archiving it and my other seawall caches as I no longer have time to maintain them.

This geocache is an extension to my Seawall series. The Dymchurch seawall is a great place to walk or cycle as well as enjoying the sandy beach.
For more information on the history of the seawall please look at my Martello Cache.
The clay cache is named after the clay-earth which lies beyond the seawall. This was used for packing into the gaps between the bundles of hawthorn It dries very hard and combined with the hawthorn made a wall which kept the sea at bay for centuries.
