Centenary Hut Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Becca85: After communication with the previous finder and further review, I have decided to archive this cache. While I have loved bringing people to this great mud hut, the ongoing litter issues (not geocachers of course) have evolved in to some used syringes being left in stumps. I would hate for any geocacher to come across one while searching for the cache. Thanks to all who found and enjoyed this cache.

Geocache Description:

This Geocache will take you to a little Hut near the Centenary Reservoir that my children were quite excited to discover. After a lot of conflicting research, we found out that the Mud Brick Hut was built most likely in the early 1990's with a few informants claiming early 80's. Either way it's certainly an example of sustainability! It was allegedly the product of a Community project that involved a gentleman from Afghanistan, a few locals and students from Highview (a local college).

The cache is a Small Lock & Lock container holding Log book, FTF prize, Pen & Swaps. Please replace carefully as the area is also visited by Muggles (evident in the CITO we do each time we've visited). Please be careful with children, there are several dams nearby. (All besides one are generally empty) Enjoy!
