Fontanna na stawie przed budynkiem maszynowni/biogazowi ma 30 m wysokości, dawniej miała 33 m wys., ale i tak to najwyższa fontanna na Dolnym Śląsku i trzecia pod względem wysokości w Polsce. Działa od 1 maja 2014 r. (godz. 16-22 w dni zwykłe, godz. 12-24 - w weekendy). Stara instalacja była tak skorodowana, że musiano założyć nową.
Dawniej wszystkie fontanny (a było na terenie pzypałacowym łącznie 27) jednorazowo pełną siłą mogły działać najwyżej przez dwie godziny, bo instalacja była niewydolna. Wodę ze stawu pompowano do dwóch zbiorników w parku za parterem wodnym, czyli wysoko w górę. Stąd spływała grawitacyjnie w dół do fontann, przy czym ciśnienie regulowano. Ciśnienie wody tak ustawiono, że wszystkie tryskały na jednej wysokości. I tak, na samej górze był to strumień wysokości około tylko 5-7 m, a na dole - 33 m. Ponadto w parku w różnych miejscach były wodopoje w marmurowych misach i kaskady.
