The cache is a small click and lock box and holds a log and small swapable items. There is a good path near the cache but then you will have to be brave and venture off a little so buggies and wheelchair users will need assistance. This cache has been placed with the National Wildlife Trust Wardens permission.
We love coming to this lovely area with our own children and friends, also of course "Yua" who we have named the cache after (its a Japanese name meaning to bind with love and affection). Yua is a very special golden retriever puppy belonging to a very dear friend and her family and we help to exercise her which is great fun. Its a lovely area for dog walking and playing. Older children will love the Adventure Trail and younger children will enjoy exploring the ponds, meadows and woodland.
There is a small car park next to the Wildlife Trust Centre Building which you access by entering the St Nicholas Hospital entrance and continue past the Post Office Depot and the Wildlife Trust Centre is the next turning on your right or you can also park in the estate streets to the side and enter the area via one of the side entrances.
