Cache is a small camoflauged match container that contains a log, small pencil and a FTF prize of $50 at the time of placement. I figure the view from here alone is worth the trip. The easiest access to this cache is the old dump roard on Gaudon's Lane. Just before the gate turn left and go over the small hill. At this point you either have to hike or quad. Follow the trail along the transmission line and turn left again after a few hundred meters. This trail will lead right to the area where the cache is located. You have to cross a couple of small brooks so if hiking the trail then proper footwear is suggested.
After ascending the final knob you have a beautiful view of Long Pond. Many beautiful homes are being built on the other side. The cache is to the left of the open field. Enjoy the view "Across The Pond". Congratulations to WhiteWatchers and TobinTrackers on FTF!
