~ My Grandpa Frank & Grandma Irene lived for 50 some odd years just about ten houses down on the Eastside of Sumner. That's where the majority of my fathers rearing years happened, my Aunt Linda too. I have many wonderful memories associated with this street: Playing croquet & badmiton in the backyard w/ my sisters, riding my grandparents enormous (especially to a small child) Schwinn Bicycles. Sweeping dirt out of the garage was an endless chore, because just up until a few years ago Sumner was a dirt road. Shooting pool in the basement ~ my Grandfather cut & laid all the tile himself down there ~ Gargantuan Glass 7 Up Pops. It's also the first home I spent the night away from home at ~ Grandpa Frank use to dash across 8 Mile to buy chicken from Danny's Market for dinner too.

I found this an amusing addition to the challenge & it reminds me of the part of that movie where Indiana Jones has to reach in the small hole filled w/ bugs & pull the lever to reverse the SPIKES.
