The Two Towers by JRR Tolkien (1st Edition published by George Allen and Unwin)
.
The Two Towers is the second volume in JRR Tolkien's classic book "The Lord of the Rings" and made more famous by the motion pictures filmed here in New Zealand since 2000 by Sir Peter Jackson. The Two Towers referred to in the book are actually ambiguous. Some letters by Tolkien suggest it might be Orthanc and Minas Morgul (on the border of Morder). But others believed it referred to Orthanc (Saruman's abode) and the Dark Tower ( Barad-dûr), the abode of the dark lord Sauron.
The Two Towers begins with the breaking of the fellowship of the Ring. Frodo and Sam set off on their quest to reach Mordor and destroy the one ring. Meanwhile Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli must find and rescue the younger hobbits from Saruman's Uruk-hai. Their journey takes them to Rohan, the Land of the Horse Lords. At Helm's Deep they must all join forces to defeat the army of Saruman before they can take on the forces of Mordor and save the people of Gondor.
The two towers you are seeking can be found in Middle Earth but are not guarded by Nazgul, orcs or cave trolls (hopefully).
The cache is very close to these two towers and is a cache within a cache.
