Kivisilmän kanava on kaivettu 1900-luvun alussa tukinuittoa helpottamaan. Kanava yhdistää Luujärven ja Tihvetjärven ja on noin 30 metriä pitkä ja alle 10 metriä leveä. Paikalla voi siis helposti esim. uida järvestä toiseen! Aivan kätkön lähellä on myös katos ja nuotiopaikka. Kätkö on 0,5 litran pakasterasia eikä ainakaan helposti löydy lumisena talvena. Sillalta itään ja pohjoiseen on puolustusvoimien ampuma-alue, joten sinne ei kannata mennä ilman lupia tai tutustumatta harjoitusaikatauluihin.
Kivisilmä channel connects lakes Luujärvi and Tihvetjärvi. It was made in the early 1900´s to help transporting timber over the waters from one lake to another and further down to the rivers and eventually paper mills. The channel is only 30 metres long. Near the cache there is also a place to have a picnic and a bonfire. The cache box is a half litre plastic box and it cannot be found when there is snow on the ground - at least not easily. To the east and north of the bridge lies a military practising ground where access is not open year round.
