This is actually a pretty sad piece of Montana history to be educated on... but a beautiful stop to get out and stretch your legs on the drive through the Seeley Swan Valley.
You are looking for a camoed pill container holding a DNA test tube with a log in it. It should be easy to find and just a little harder to actually retrieve. The pullout for the cache is between mile marker 34 and 35 at approximately 34.7 miles. It is on the north bound side of Highway 83. There is no cell service in this portion of the valley.
Watch out for wildlife in the area. I have seen bears, elk, deer, coyotes and even a mountain lion cross this road within a mile of here over the years. Traffic moves quickly through this staightaway so keep kids and pets on a tight leash. Parking for large rigs and motorhomes.
Congrats to RnCsleuths on the FTF!.
