Grandholm, a village, with woollen works, in Old Machar parish, Aberdeenshire, on the left bank of the Don, opposite Woodside, and 2 miles of Aberdeen.
The bridge connects Tillydrone and Grandholm. The surrounding area such as Woodside Trail offer stunning environments for walks. Especially during the summer wildlife such as herrons and other brids can be seen catching fish so keep your eyes peeled.
This location has always been close to my heart as I enjoyed many walks and (occasional) runs along the river Don.
