On a cold winter night, members of Iowa's major political parties gather in their precincts to discuss issues, elect delegates for their party's county convention, and cast their preference for their party's presidential candidate.
Because Iowa holds the first caucuses, it is common for Iowans, intentional or not, to meet several presidential candidates in the months leading up to the caucus night.
