Come out to Simpson County Park to help clean it up and earn your Geocaching Road trip souvenir, too! SLAGA and the St. Louis County Parks are working together again to put this event on. Join us for an afternoon of fun and help keep our parks clean while you're at it! (And hopefully we won't get poured on this time...) 
SLAGA will be providing water and snacks and I will be bringing a trailer full of 8 canoes to help get people out on the water to clean up some of the trash that has floated in with all the flooding we've had this year. If you have your own canoe or kayak, you are welcome to bring it out, too. But don't worry, for those who are staying on land, there is also plenty of trash on the water edges and around the trails, too. Also, if you have any mesh bags for picking up waterlogged trash, that would be great - I will have some work gloves and regular trash bags. Yup, the ones that can be used as a tent...
The event will run from 1pm-3pm. I hope to see everyone out there making a difference in our parks, and earning their souvenir!!
