Geocache Description:

This cache is part of the NH State Geoart Series. The coordinates are fake; you must solve the puzzle below to obtain the final coordinates. The caches are placed along the 14.8 mile, dirt Bog Dam Road (also known as the Kilkenny Loop Road) in Berlin, NH. The dirt road is is in great shape, but the road is gated from the end of November to the beginning of May. Check the WMNF website for road closure.

Note that all the caches are winter friendly and within 20' of the road – easy P&Gs.

Mt. Adams is my 12th favorite NH 4000'er mountain. Mount Adams, elevation 5,793 feet (1,766 m) high, is the second highest peak in the Northeast United States after its nearby neighbor, Mt. Washington. Located in the northern Presidential Range, Mount Adams was named after President John Adams. There are two major subsidiary peaks of Mt. Adams: Mount Sam Adams and Mount Quincy Adams, named after John Adams' cousin, Sam Adams, and son, President John Quincy Adams, respectively, and two minor sub-peaks, Abigail Adams (named for John Adams' wife Abigail) and Adams 5. The AT traverses the col between Mount Adams and Mount Sam Adams on the Gulfside Trail. Mt. Adams was named by a group from Lancaster on July 31, 1820.
