Mt. Jackson is my 14th favorite NH 4000' mountain. Jackson is 4,052 ft (1,235 m) above sea level and is named after Charles Thomas Jackson, New Hampshire's state geologist in the 19th century and a very controversial figure at the time. Mt. Jackson has 360 degree views and is one of the easier peaks on the Presidential Range.
