O miejscu:
Inowrocławska tężnia uzdrowiskowa drugą co do wielkości w Polsce. W całej Europie jest tylko kilkanaście tężni, w tym jedna w mieście partnerskim Inowrocławia – niemieckim Bad Oeynhausen. Przy jej budowie wykorzystano tarninę z okolic Inowrocławia.
Już w okresie rzymskim (II-IV wiek) na terenie obecnego Inowrocławia zastosowano nieznane w innych ośrodkach solowarskich w Europie budowle przypominające współczesne tężnie, które na nowo „wymyślono" dopiero w XIX w. Po analizie badań prowadzonych przez ostatnie kilkanaście lat przez zespół archeologów z Uniwersytetu Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu stwierdzono, że odkryte przez naukowców pozostałości są bez wątpienia najstarszymi tężniami solankowymi w Europie, a być może nawet w świecie.
Wejście na tężnie jest płatne i sezonowe - niedostępne w okresie zimowym. Godziny otwarcia: 10:00 - 20:00.

About this spot:
Inowrocław spa graduation tower is the second largest in Poland. Across Europe, there is only a dozen graduation towers, including one in Inowrocław's partner city - german Bad Oeynhausen. While its construction blackthorns of the vicinity of Inowrocław were used.
In the Roman period (II-IV century) in the area of Inowrocław already has used , unknown in other salt centers in Europe, buildings resembling modern graduation towers, that were "invented" from scratch in the nineteenth century . After analyzing the research conducted over the past several years by a team of archaeologists from the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznan, it was concluded that the remains discovered by scientists are undoubtedly the oldest saline graduation towers in Europe, and perhaps even in the world.
The entrance to the graduation towers is paid and seasonal - inaccessible in winter. Opening hours: 10:00 am - 20:00.
