A weekend of caching, activities and fun. The event will last from 6pm on the Friday until 10 am on the Sunday but anyone visiting during that time can claim to have attended, even if you didn't camp.
You must book your camping directly with Wing Hall by using this link . When you book you will be asked to pay a deposit and you then settle the balance upon arrival. I have asked for us to have our own area close to the showers and toilets and with some EHU pitches. Camper Vans are also welcome here. You are responsible for all other costs associated with the weekend- food, drink, electricity etc.
When you book please remember either to mention my name (Andy Wright) or to say that you are in the Geocaching group so that they can put us all together.
There will be a fun activity on both evenings, one of which will be a quiz. Further details will be added as they develop. The days will be yours to do with as you please- there's caching, of course, but there are also some excellent cycle routes nearby (bikes are available to hire from Wing Hall) and Rutland Water itself is very close by if you fancy messing about in a boat!
This beautiful area is rich with caches. There are several large series that run close by, numerous Church Micros and assorted multi-caches, Puzzles, Earthcaches etc. There's a chirp cache very close by too and if you want a Wherigo we're not far from where last year's Hallowe'en mega took place.
