This cache is named for our dad/grandpa who loved this beautiful part of old Florida. Milepost was his nickname due to his skinny stature and knowledge of the area. He rode airboats all through these waters during the 70's and loved Florida nature and wildlife.

This is a traditional cache. Easy parking in the nature center lot. Do not park on the grass. Walk to cache. Not deep in the marsh, just off the grass. Watch out for stinging insects. Must enter
to find cache during park hours. Monday to Saturday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Sunday 8:00 am -5:00 pm
