A little gem of a place just 3 miles south along the coast from Stonehaven Aberdeenshire. You would take the turn off for Crawton. There is a RSPB reserve here the cache can be found on the roadside not actually within the reserve.I would recommened a walk along the clifftops wether you are a twitcher or not as the cliff sides are covered with birds and the view is just stunning, you can catch the top of dunnottar castle looking north and to the south Todhead lighthouse and beyond. My highlight along here is seeing the Puffins and there is a hide at the far end about 1 mile along the trail .(Parking) The reserve car park is just before the end of this road. Parking spaces are limited. Cliffs are very high and children would need to be supervised closely same if you were bringing your dog. Hope you enjoy it here as much as i do.
