NH State Geoart #02 Mystery Cache

This cache is part of the NH State Geoart Series. The coordinates are fake; you must solve the puzzle below to obtain the final coordinates. The caches are placed along the 14.8 mile, dirt Bog Dam Road in Berlin, NH. This good dirt road is gated from the end of November to the beginning of May.  Check the WMNF website for road closure. This  historic site, located on New Castle Island and overlooking the Piscataqua River, was originally a military installation built around 1842 to protect the harbor.  It was named in honor of the commander of N.H. forces at the Battle of Bennington in 1777. Fortification was further improved after the Spanish American War in 1898.
