Peter's Hideaway Traditional Cache

The cache location is off an easily accessible trail in the Coyote Lake Regional Park area.  It's a short walk from both the camping area and from the free day use area.  The cache is a standard plastic ammo box.  The area is generally clear of poison oak.

Our group of Airstreams from the WBCCI Santa Clara and Golden West Units have made Coyote Lake Bear Valley one of our annual camping spots since 2012.  Typically in the mide June timeframe we arrive with 15 to 20 of our friends in our mostly-shiny trailers.  We hang out, eat lots of great food and socialize with our friends.

This geocache is a tribute to one of our members Peter, who passed in 2015.  It was Peter in 2011 that said "Hey, I know a great new place for our group to camp - it's called Coyote Lake...".  Ever since then, this particular camping trip (we call them "Rallies") has become one of our favorite. 

So we remember Peter with this cache.  It was initially filled with bits of things associated with our club and members.
