Port Royal Park Traditional Cache

This is the area I started caching in and thought there are caches all along the river walk there hasn't been one to bring you right into the park, until now that is. THis should be a quick find for cachers of all ages and offers plenty of amenities for both before and after your hunt.

A big thanks need to go out to Scrufster for supplying caches for the Jr Hippos guiding events and then letting us release them into the wild ;)

The Port Royal Park was expanded and upgraded in 2010 & 2011 to offer visitors a variety of popular amenities including trees and open green space, a picnic shelter, washrooms, a plaza with trellises, a playground, park benches, picnic tables, public art features, a dock, a fountain, a bike rack and waste receptacle bins.

A key feature of the Port Royal Park is its connection to the Fraser River. The spectacular Port Royal Riverfront Walk provides accessible trails, views, interpretive signs, native plantings, a sand beach and a lookout onto Poplar Island.

Other park features include the Port Royal Community Garden and plaza.
