Nail Can Hill offers a range of recreational opportunities- walking, running, geocaching and cycling. It is also home to a number of endangered flora and fauna species.There are many cycling trails in the area and well worth exploring.
Range Rd trail leads up the hill to the top of Nail Can, you can park at the Range Rd carpark. Remember: Uphill traffic has the right of way on all trails , unless a trail is specifically signed as single direction only. BEWARE THE CYCLISTS AND SNAKES IN WARMER MONTHS. The cache is on one of the main routes , which is known as a classic XC race route, it easily accessible just off the main track. While up here, it is a good opportunity to explore the many tracks available.
